'Bambukat' collection affected by "Rustom," "Mohenjo Daro" at overseas box office in 3rd weekend
The two-week-old Punjabi movie "Bambukat" witnessed a steep decline at the overseas box office in the third weekend and its collection was affected by new releases "Rustom," "Mohenjo Daro," and "Babu Bangaram."
"Bambukat" was released in over 65 screens in the key international markets on July 29 and made a decent collection at the overseas box office in the first week. Since there was no new big ticket release in its second week, the movie managed to retain all the theatres and did well at the overseas box office. The trade experts predicted that its dream run would be halted by the new releases.

Much-hyped and highly-awaited Indian movies like "Rustom," "Mohenjo Daro" and "Babu Bangaram" forced out "Bambukat" from many screens in its third week. They also took a toll on its collection, by becoming first choice for most of the viewers. When compared to its second weekend business, the film witnessed over 60 percent drop in its collection in the third weekend.
"Bambukat" has collected approximately $75,070 at the overseas box office in its third weekend and its 17-day international total has $1,534,364.
